Sigourney Weaver addressed climate change and the danger it poses to American farmers.

Weaver said Clinton is committed and taking a stand against climate change is about a moral obligation to each other  and our children.

This led into a video, directed by James Cameron (who has directed Weaver multiple films), which Weaver narrated.

California Gov. Jerry Brown addressed the  crowd after the video. He said climate change is  a danger  and there is a moral imperative to take action and most scientists agree.

Brown blasted Donald Trump for his speech last  week, which was  76 minutes long and about dire threats, but never mentioned climate change.

“It’s not surprising  Trump picked a VP who doesn’t believe  in evolution. The parties couldn’t be more different.” He said the GOP was worse than the Know-Nothings in the 1850s.

Brown credited Clinton for working on the European accord on combating climate change. He said Clinton would lead a revolution on energy.

“Our (California) economy is growing faster than any nation in the world.” He said you can grow the economy and clean the environment at the same time.
