A large group of Bernie Sanders’ supporters have occupied one of three media tents here outside the Wells Fargo Center where the Democratic National Convention is being held.
Philadelphia police officers are blocking the entrances and refuse to allow reporters inside to their work space or to report on the protest.
About 70 Sanders protesters entered the tent quietly but quickly and refuse to speak to reporters. Many are wearing tape over their mouths.
The protest came just moments after Sanders led the effort to nominate Hillary Clinton for president.
