Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who is considering a run for president, is scheduled to speak at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce annual meeting in Columbus on April 14, the chamber announced Tuesday.
“We are extremely excited to have Gov. Bush as our keynote speaker,” said Ohio Chamber Chief Executive Andrew E. Doehrel in a written statement. “Gov. Bush champions many of the same issues as the Ohio Chamber, including pro-growth polices that lead to a robust economy and prosperity for individuals and businesses. His business and leadership experiences, as well as his accomplishments reforming government, will make for an excellent presentation.”
The annual chamber meeting has featured big name Republicans as keynote speakers, including former President George H.W. Bush, former Secretary of State Colin Powell and former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani.
